Fees & Funding

Jigsaw Day Nursery offers non-funded and funded places for children. All of our settings offer funded places for eligible two year olds, and funded places for all children from the term after their third birthday until they go to school.

The current terms and conditions around this funding from East Sussex County Council (ESCC) are displayed in each nursery, and you should talk with your setting manager about what hours you are going to be claiming, and be sure about whether or not you will be booking any hours that have to be paid for.

Fee Structure From 1st April 2024

                                                         

A healthy snack is included mid-morning and mid-afternoon.


Children should bring a healthy packed lunch. We have a NO NUT POLICY. We also have a no juice policy, fresh milk and water is provided throughout the day.


Nappies are not provided.


Early Years Education Entitlement


Our universal and 2 year old funding ‘stretched offer’ is 11 hours per week over 52 weeks.


Our universal and 2 year old funding ‘free offer’ is 15 hours per week over 38 weeks

 (Mon-Fri 1pm-4pm or Mon, Wed, Fri 1pm-6pm).


Our extended funding ‘stretched offer’ is 22 hours per week over 52 weeks. Subject to a £35 per month fee, this charge is for food and consumables that are not covered by funding.


If your child does not receive any funding yet, the rates above are payable in full for the sessions you attend. Once your child receives the funding, funded hours are not charged for, only hours that your child attends on top of the funded hours.


Payment Terms


All fees are payable in advance - your bill will be emailed to you approximately one week before the start of every month and is due immediately.
 


If we do not receive payment payment by the 14th of the month you will not be able to access childcare after this date, unless you have agreed any special payment plan with us. Any payment plan must be authorised by emailing us at info@jigsawnurseries.co.uk and not with the manager of your child’s nursery. Please let us have your child’s name and details of the nursery attended when emailing. If your payment plan is agreed, we will inform the manager of your nursery immediately.
